TS Entertainment Confirmed To Have Been Forwarded To Prosecution For Failing To Pay Employees

The Ministry of Employment and Labor has confirmed that TS Entertainment has been forwarded to the prosecution on charges of overdue payments to employees.

On September 26, it was reported that TS Entertainment had been reported to the Ministry of Employment and Labor by a former employee due to overdue payments.

A source from the government agency confirmed the news and stated, “TS Entertainment has been reported on charges of failing to pay stipends for unused annual leave and severance pay to employees. Following an investigation by a labor supervisor, they have been forwarded to the prosecution on charges of violating the Labor Standards Act.”

When asked if the investigation found additional employees to have also not been paid by the agency along with the individual who was initially reported on, the source stated that they could not answer the question without checking for confirmation.

TS Entertainment is currently in legal disputes with rapper Sleepy and SONAMOO’s Nahyun and Sumin regarding their exclusive contracts as well.
