September Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from August 26 to September 27.
Notably, girl groups continued to dominate the rankings this month—with the exceptions of BTS at No. 1, EXO at No. 10, and SEVENTEEN at No. 13, girl groups swept the top 17 spots on the list for September.
BTS maintained their position at the top of the rankings with a total brand reputation index of 11,902,265 for the month. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “concert,” “ARMY,” and “birthday,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “perfect,” “honest,” and “donate.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 62.85 percent positive reactions.
TWICE also held onto their spot at second place with a total brand reputation index of 6,009,100, while Oh My Girl rose to third place in the rankings with a total score of 5,536,980 for September.
