Watch: Ji Chang Wook And Yoo Jae Suk Are Hilariously Desperate To Cool Off In New "Laborhood On Hire" Preview
Things may get a little heated on the next episode of tvN’s “Laborhood on Hire”!
On September 28, the new variety show aired a preview of its upcoming episode, which will feature Ji Chang Wook and Im Won Hee as guests. The two actors are currently starring together in the new drama “Melting Me Softly,” which premiered on tvN last night.
For next week’s episode, Yoo Jae Suk and the two guests will head to a saltern, where they marvel at the beauty of the crystallized salt. The actors comment on how pretty the salt pans look, and Yoo Jae Suk adds, “The way it sparkles makes it look like jewels.” They also praise Ji Chang Wook’s good looks, joking, “Isn’t he a little too handsome? You can’t help but make sounds of awe [when you see him].”
Ji Chang Wook is initially very optimistic about the day of work ahead, enthusiastically shoveling piles of salt as Yoo Jae Suk remarks, “You’re good at [this] work.” The actor replies, “Yes, I’m a pretty good worker.” Even when Yoo Jae Suk repeatedly worries that he might be getting tired, Ji Chang Wook insists that he’s fine and plows onward, saying, “I think I’m well-suited to this variety show.”
Im Won Hee, on the other hand, is hilariously vocal about his lack of energy from the beginning. He repeatedly calls out complaints such as “I’m hungry,” “My back aches,” and finally, “My back aches and I’m hungry.” After suggesting they take a break to eat, he cracks up the other two men by declaring, “I hope the sun sets early today [so we can stop working].” Yoo Jae Suk laughs, “We’ve never had a guest like this before, who’s this honest.”
However, after long hours of toiling in the sun, all three stars grow exhausted and weary from their hard work. Ji Chang Wook jokingly asks, “What if I can’t wake up tomorrow? Or forever?”
After becoming overheated and turning bright red, the three men finally end up using a block of ice to cool down their faces. Yoo Jae Suk jokes, “Let’s just not receive our day’s wages [and go home],” and Ji Chang Wook chimes in, “This variety show taught me what it means to give up.”
The next episode of “Laborhood on Hire” airs on October 5 at 10:40 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new preview below!
