Watch: Ji Chang Wook And Won Jin Ah Use Silly Motions To Hilariously Portray Their Characters In "Melting Me Softly"
tvN’s “Melting Me Softly” has released a new making-of video!
“Melting Me Softly” is about Ma Dong Chan (Ji Chang Wook) and Go Mi Ran (Won Jin Ah) who take part in a science experiment where humans are frozen for 24 hours. Due to mysterious circumstances, they wake up 20 years later.
In the new behind-the-scenes video, Ji Chang Wook is fascinated by the freezing capsule, touching it curiously. Meanwhile FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki appears talking about his role. During the interview, he says, “What am I here for? I’m here to work!” When asked if he can carry out his role well, he scoffs, hilariously showing off his confidence. When given instructions on how to carry out his scene using a notebook as a prop, Lee Hong Ki happily says, “Then, I’ll just secretly copy my lines onto here.”
Won Jin Ah also has a blast on set while filming on water. The production crew comment on how the actors are having fun amidst the difficult filming, smiling as they look towards the actors as they film their scenes. Won Jin Ah also makes playful poses while hanging up in the air, showcasing her bright energy.
Meanwhile, B1A4’s Baro (also known as Cha Sun Woo), who transformed into the role of Go Mi Ran’s boyfriend Hwang Byung Shim from 1999, also playfully films with Won Jin Ah while repeating, “What? 20 years?” until he gets the right feel for the line.
When Ji Chang Wook and Won Jin Ah film together, even the director becomes amused by Ji Chang Wook’s large hand gestures of his character expressing his directions to the other characters. The two actors smoothly carry out the director’s instructions despite the difficult filming condition of the strong wind.
