Yang Hyun Suk Completes 2nd Round Of Questioning For Gambling Suspicions

Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk has completed his second round of police questioning for gambling suspicions.

He was summoned for questioning at 10 a.m. on October 1 and left the station roughly 14 hours later, at just past midnight on October 2.

To the reporters outside the station, Yang Hyun Suk said, “I faithfully cooperated with police, and I told the truth.”

On the suspicions he faces regarding habitual gambling and hwanchigi (illegal practices surrounding foreign exchange transactions), he said, “It will be revealed through the police investigation.” When asked if he used YG money to fund his gambling,” Yang Hyun Suk said, “It’s not true.”

Yang Hyun Suk, who had also been investigated by police on suspicions of prostitution mediation, was previously forwarded to prosecution with a recommendation of non-indictment.
