Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Rae Won’s new film “The Most Ordinary Love” (literal title) has surpassed one million moviegoers!
“The Most Ordinary Love” tells the story of Jae Hoon (played by Kim Rae Won), who was hurt by his ex-girlfriend, and Sun Young (played by Gong Hyo Jin), who was betrayed by her ex-boyfriend, as they embark on an honest relationship between two people who just experienced breakups.
On October 6 at 5 p.m. KST, “The Most Ordinary Love” surpassed one million moviegoers, meaning that it took the film just five days to reach the milestone. The movie has gained much love and attention for the chemistry between its talented leads, as well as its funny and relatable story.
Furthermore, “The Most Ordinary Love” hit the one million mark faster than other popular romance films such as “All About My Wife,” “On Your Wedding Day,” and “Be With You,” tying the record of the hit 2012 film “A Werewolf Boy.”
To celebrate the achievement, NEW Movie posted a photo of stars Kim Rae Won, Gong Hyo Jin, and Kang Ki Young holding balloons to signify one million moviegoers. Another photo shows the actors holding up props that relate to the film.
