"When The Camellia Blooms" Continues Its Steady Rise In Viewership Ratings
KBS’s “When the Camellia Blooms” has hit a new personal best!
According to Nielsen Korea, the October 9 episode of “When the Camellia Blooms” recorded ratings of 11 percent in the first half and 13.1 percent in the second half. This is a 0.2 percent increase from last week‘s 12.9 percent, which was also a personal best for the drama at the time. The drama has made waves for hitting a new personal best with every new episode since its premiere.
In the same time slot, SBS’s “Secret Boutique” recorded ratings of 4.1 and 5 percent. This is a decrease from last week’s personal best of 5.8 percent.
MBC’s new drama, “Extraordinary You,” which airs an hour earlier at 9 p.m. KST, broadcast a two-episode special on October 9 due to scheduling issues. These recorded ratings of 2.9 and 3.9 percent for the first episode and 2.7 and 3.1 percent for the second episode.
On the cable side, which calculates viewership ratings differently, MBN’s “Graceful Family” got ratings of 7.3 percent, which is also a 0.2 percent increase from its previous personal best of 7.1 percent.
