Watch: Kim Hye Yoon, SF9's Rowoon, APRIL's Naeun, And More Have Fun On Set Of "Extraordinary You"

MBC’s newest drama “Extraordinary You” has released a funny behind-the-scenes video from the set!

The drama tells the story of a high school student named Eun Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon), who discovers that she is a manhwa (Korean comic) character. When she meets another nameless extra in the story known only as “No. 13” (played by SF9’s Rowoon), she decides to go against her predetermined fate and find true love.

The video released on October 10 shows the cast getting closer and comfortable with each other. The video begins with Kim Hye Yoon and Rowoon having fun with each other by testing the actress’s reflexes and turning what could have been something heart-fluttering into something playful.

The next scene features Lee Jae Wook, who is wearing a scientist gown while memorizing the symbols of chemical elements. The actor also goes around the room playing with dry ice and even singing a theme song from a Korean remake of the Japanese animation “Tottoko Hamutaro.”

The video then moves on to show APRIL’s Naeun and Kim Young Dae filming a scene together. The two took on the roles of Yeo Joo Da and Oh Nam Joo, respectively, who are the two protagonists of the manhwa that features Eun Dan Oh and No. 13 as extras.

Rowoon is also spotted complimenting Kim Hye Yoon, and the actress explains, “Haru [Rowoon’s character in the drama] compliments me every time a camera is on. That’s because I put money into his bank account. I pay him every time he makes a compliment.” In response, Rowoon said, “That’s because Haru is poor. He only has one pair of shoes.” The video ends with the two asking viewers to look forward to upcoming episodes.
