Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Rae Won, And Kang Ki Young Celebrate New Rom-Com Surpassing 2 Million Moviegoers
Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Rae Won’s new romantic comedy continues to see box office success!
“The Most Ordinary Love” tells the story of Jae Hoon (played by Kim Rae Won), who was hurt by his ex-girlfriend, and Sun Young (played by Gong Hyo Jin), who was betrayed by her ex-boyfriend, as they embark on an honest relationship between two people who just experienced breakups.
According to the film’s distribution company NEW Movie, “The Most Ordinary Love” surpassed 2 million moviegoers on October 13 at around 5 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the film just 14 days to reach the milestone.
The film was also able to hit the 2 million mark within the same time frame as “All About My Wife” and faster than other popular romance films such as “On Your Wedding Day,” which achieved this milestone 13 days after its premiere, and “Be With You,” with took 15 days.
To celebrate the milestone, NEW Movie posted a photo of stars Kang Ki Young, Gong Hyo Jin, and Kim Rae Won holding up heart-shaped balloons and signs that read, “Hit the 2 million mark,” “Thanks for,” and “Watching.”
