Update: ATEEZ's Agency Shares Update On Mingi's Return Following Hiatus Due To Injury

ATEEZ’s agency has released a statement about plans for Mingi to resume activities following his injury.

This is a notice regarding ATEEZ member Mingi resuming scheduled activities.

First of all, we express gratitude to ATINY for waiting and showing support for Mingi’s recovery.

Mingi focused on continuous rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise during his period of rest. After being examined by his doctor, he was deemed fit to carry out scheduled activities as usual.

We inform you that Mingi will therefore participate in domestic and overseas activities starting with next week’s 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

We ask you to continue showing ATEEZ and Mingi lots of support and encouragement.

ATEEZ’s agency has revealed more information on Mingi’s injury and whether he will participate in upcoming activities.

The new statement reads as follows:

Hello.
This is KQ Entertainment.

This is a notice regarding the condition of ATEEZ member Mingi’s health.

Mingi experienced pain around his joints while carrying out a scheduled activity a few days ago, so he visited a medical professional and was examined.
The examination results show that inflammation has occurred in a ligament and joint area different from the back pain he recently received treatment for. He received the necessary treatment and is currently resting at the dorm.

Following the medical professional’s advice that he should avoid drastic movement for a fixed time period, we will determine [his participation] in future scheduled activities with our artist’s health as the top priority.

As a result, he will not be participating in MBC Music’s “Show Champion” today (October 16), and only seven members without Mingi will participate in scheduled activities that involve choreography or much movement for future “TREASURE EP.FIN : All To Action” promotions.
(The schedule on ATEEZ’s upcoming website will indicate the status of Mingi’s participation in each activity.)
