Gong Yoo And Jung Yu Mi Are Adorably Fond Of Their On-Screen Children Behind The Scenes Of 'Kim Ji Young, Born 1982'

Jung Yu Mi and Gong Yo’s upcoming film “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” has revealed an endearing glimpse of its stars on set!

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” will tell the life story of an ordinary woman in her thirties named Kim Ji Young (played by Jung Yu Mi). The film will also star Gong Yoo as Kim Ji Young’s husband Jung Dae Hyun.

On October 17, the film released new behind-the-scenes stills that capture the warm atmosphere on set. Even when the cameras aren’t rolling, Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi are unable to hide their fondness for the child actors that play their on-screen children in the movie—and the photos show the two leads affectionately beaming at their younger co-stars and playing with them between takes.

As “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” marks Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi’s third time working together (they previously starred together in both the 2011 film “Silenced” and the 2016 film “Train to Busan”), the two co-stars share a natural, relaxed chemistry that makes them an especially convincing married couple. Lee Eol, who plays Kim Ji Young’s father Young Soo in the movie, also looks right at home seated next to his on-screen son-in-law Gong Yoo as they go over the script together during a break from filming.

“Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” will premiere on October 23. In the meantime, check out a teaser for the film here!
