Park So Dam's Reps Explain How She's Related To Actress Park Won Sook

Park So Dam’s agency addressed reports about her familial relationship with actress Park Won Sook.

On October 21, a source from Park So Dam’s agency told Herald Pop, “It’s true that Park Won Sook and Park So Dam are first cousins twice removed.”

Park So Dam is the granddaughter of Park Won Sook’s male cousin. In other words, Park Won Sook is a cousin of Park So Dam’s grandfather.

The source continued, “Their agencies are different. Rather than trying to keep silent about their family relations, they were walking on their own paths.”

Park So Dam debuted in 2013 with the film “The Priests” and was recognized for her acting in the 2019 award-winning film “Parasite.” She also appeared as a lead in the drama “A Beautiful Mind” and as a cast member in the latest season of tvN’s “Three Meals A Day.”

Park Won Sook debuted in 1970 as an MBC actress and appeared in many dramas including “Country Diaries,” “The Greatest Love,” “Fated to Love You,” and “The Last Empress.” She currently stars in MBN’s “Modern Family.”
