During the interview for the pictorial, Kim Hyang Gi talked about her latest drama “Moments of 18” where she played high school student Yoo Soo Bin. When asked about the drama’s keywords “growth” and “consolation,” she recalled the filming experience and explained that it was not only about the growth of youth and teenagers, but also the growth of adults. All the characters comforted each other while maturing into better people.
She added, “Yoo Soo Bin seems to be very mature, articulate, and firm-minded, but if you look deep inside her, you can see she has a tender heart.” She wanted to express a teenager who looks more mature than anyone but is actually just a pure and naive child.
Kim Hyang Gi, who is learning how to improve through acting with her seniors in various works, revealed her values as an actor. She said, “I want to be a person who balances herself well and makes people feel comfortable.”
“Moments of 18” is a drama that revolves around the real and sweet lives of 18-year-olds, who are swept away by a flood of emotions at the smallest things as they wade through a tumultuous but nostalgic period of time everyone has experienced. The drama stars Ong Seong Wu, Kim Hyang Gi, Shin Seung Ho, and Kang Ki Young.
