FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Shares Why He Chose "Amazing Saturday" As Last Variety Show Before Enlisting

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki shared a special reason why he decided to appear on tvN’s “Amazing Saturday” days before enlisting in the military.

The episode of “Amazing Saturday” that aired on October 27 featured guest appearances by Lee Hong Ki and Cherry Bullet’s Yuju. The show was filmed just three days before Lee Hong Ki enlisted in the military on September 30.

When asked how he felt about enlisting soon, he made everyone laugh with his honest answer of, “Not that great.” Boom asked why he decided to appear on “Amazing Saturday” when people prefer to spend their last days before enlisting in private with family and friends.

Lee Hong Ki surprised everyone when he said, “Our fans really enjoyed it when I appeared on this show the first time. So I wanted to wrap up my activities with this show.” He had wanted to gift his fans with another appearance on the show. He also added that he had so much fun the first time that he was happy to be there again.

During the quiz, where the cast and guest had to write down the correct lyrics to songs, everyone was determined to give Lee Hong Ki a filling meal for his last variety show. They succeeded and everyone enjoyed delicious food together.
