The identity of Green Witch was finally unveiled on MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer”!

On the October 27 episode, Green Witch faced off against Unrealistically Handsome Guy after winning the third round with a score of 71 to 28 with Park Wan Kyu’s “Love of A Thousand Years” (literal title).

Unrealistically Handsome Guy performed EXO’s “Love Me Right” and turned up the stage with this funky rhythm rendition, and won with a score of 55 to 44.

Green Witch remained on stage and took off her mask to reveal herself as none other than Red Velvet’s Wendy!

She stated, “Red Velvet has been promoting for six years now. I wanted to show you a good appearance as Red Velvet’s Wendy.”

“To be honest, it’s not easy to continue moving forward with your original intentions,” Wendy said. “The members said amongst ourselves that although Red Velvet is promoting in our sixth year, we shouldn’t forget about our original intentions and why we started. I want to continue promoting as Red Velvet for 10, 20 years.”

Wendy then stepped offstage and shared her thoughts in an interview. “I think there’s some kind of magic in the mask,” she said. “I was able to enjoy the stage in Red Velvet Wendy’s way without regrets.”
