Hong Jin Young Establishes Her Own Agency After Settling Dispute With Music K Entertainment

Hong Jin Young has established her own agency!

On October 30, a source from IMH Entertainment revealed, “All disputes between Hong Jin Young and her former agency were smoothly settled. There are no issues with her promoting.” The source continued, “Hong Jin Young is currently preparing to release a new album. Please look forward to Hong Jin Young’s future activities.”

According to the source, IMH is an acronym for “I M (Am) Hong.” Hong Jin Young founded the agency with plans to promote actively and meet with her fans.

In June, Hong Jin Young applied for an injunction to terminate the effect of her exclusive contract with Music K Entertainment, the agency she had been with for 10 years. Two months later, Hong Jin Young posted on Instagram and shared the details of her legal battle with the company, and she described issues such as the company signing a dual contract with an advertiser without her awareness, failing to pay her money she was due, and more.

Afterwards, Music K denied her claims, to which Hong Jin Young responded by refuting the agency’s statements and providing further details. The legal dispute came to an end when the singer withdrew her application for contract termination on September 19, only a day before the scheduled first hearing for the civil suit.
