IU's 'Love Poem' Is The 5th Song Of 2019 To Achieve Perfect All-Kill

IU’s pre-release track “Love Poem” has achieved a perfect all-kill on the charts!

A song receives a “perfect all-kill” when it is No. 1 on the daily and realtime charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Soribada, Flo’s realtime chart, and the weekly and realtime charts of Instiz’s iChart. Naver Music has discontinued service, and Mnet merged with Genie, so those two charts have recently been removed from the criteria.

Instiz’s iChart confirmed that IU had received the perfect all-kill at 12:30 a.m. KST on November 4. This is only the fifth song in 2019 to achieve a perfect all-kill, after BTS’s “Boy With Luv” in April, BOL4’s “Workaholic” in September, AKMU’s “How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love” in October, and most recently MC Mong’s “Fame” last week.

“Love Poem” has seen a lot of chart success in a very short time: the song was released on November 1, rose to the top of the realtime charts within two hours of its release, achieved a certified all-kill by November 2, and has now achieved a perfect all-kill.

Also on November 4, IU unveiled a teaser and release date for her upcoming mini album (also titled “Love Poem”).

Congratulations to IU!
