Yang Hyun Suk Questioned By Police On Charges Of Covering Up Past Drug Incident Involving B.I

Yang Hyun Suk, the former head of YG Entertainment, has completed police questioning regarding allegations that he covered up a drug incident involving former iKON member B.I in 2016.

He is currently under suspicion of threatening “A” to change her testimony that she made when she alleged that B.I purchased and ingested drugs in 2016. He is believed to have done this in order to affect the police investigation around B.I.

Questioning took place across 14 hours, and he arrived at the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency building at 10 a.m. KST to speak with the investigative team. He arrived in a black suit and when asked if he ever threatened “A,” Yang Hyun Suk said, “I will do my best to faithfully answer the police’s questioning.” He then walked into the building without another word.

14 hours later at around 11:50 p.m. KST, he exited the building. As he left, Yang Hyun Suk said, “I faithfully answered all questions from the police. I spoke truthfully.” When asked if he admitted to the charges made against him, he said, “I cannot reveal anything as the police investigation is currently ongoing,” and left.

Yang Hyun Suk was originally scheduled to go in for police questioning on November 6 but after details were revealed to the press, he did not attend and expressed that he wished to reschedule. This has been the first time that Yang Hyun Suk has been questioned for the investigation involving B.I, and it has not been decided yet if he will be called in for additional questioning.
