Kang Han Na Talks About Recent Breakup On "Running Man" + Cast Offers Her Advice

Kang Han Na opened up about a recent split on the latest episode of SBS’s “Running Man”!

During the November 10 broadcast of the variety show, the actress appeared as a guest alongside HyunA, EVERGLOW’s Sihyeon, and comedienne Lee Guk Joo. The “Running Man” cast members greeted her warmly, describing her as a member of the “Running Man” family and asking how she’d been.

When Yoo Jae Suk mentioned Kang Han Na’s packed schedule, the actress replied, “Right now, I’m not busy at all. I’ve been resting and relaxing at home a lot.” She went on to make the members laugh by candidly sharing, “I’ve been spending a lot of time lying down at home.”

Yoo Jae Suk then brought up a past interview in which she had mentioned wanting to get married at the age of 32, and Kang Han Na responded by revealing that she had recently broken up with a significant other.

“It’s been a year since I last appeared on ‘Running Man,'” explained the actress, “and during that time, I went through a breakup.”

Yoo Jae Suk noted, “So there was a reason you spent all that time lying down,” and HaHa said consolingly, “You’ll meet your final match next.” Ji Suk Jin chimed in, “Exactly, and then you can get married next year,” and Kang Han Na gratefully thanked them for their words of support.

Yoo Jae Suk then decided to take things a step further by asking the other cast members and guests to share their advice on how to get over a breakup. Laughing, Kang Han Na attempted to stop him by saying, “It’s been a while, so I’m already over it!” However, despite her efforts, an undeterred Yoo Jae Suk insisted that everyone offer their two cents.

When asked for his input on the best songs to listen to after a breakup, Kim Jong Kook replied, “Why listen to music? I just work out.” Meanwhile, when asked for her own advice on how to handle a breakup, EVERGLOW’s Sihyeon suggested, “Maybe going on a vacation?” The “Running Man” cast immediately rushed to tease her, asking if she was speaking from personal experience, but the idol adamantly denied it.

Lee Guk Joo declared, “When you go through a breakup, you have to just go wild and party like there’s no tomorrow,” and Yang Se Chan similarly remarked, “[After a breakup,] I personally gather a lot of my friends and go clubbing.”
