Watch: BTS WORLD Wins Mobile Game Of The Year At Golden Joystick Awards
BTS WORLD has been named the Mobile Game of the Year!
On November 16, the 37th Golden Joystick Awards were held at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London. Described as the “biggest publicly voted game awards,” this year’s ceremony distributed awards based on over 3.5 million online votes.
The award for Mobile Game of the Year went to BTS WORLD, which beat out fellow nominees C&C Rivals, Dr. Mario World, FM: Touch 2019, Grindstone, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Kids, Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, Sky: Children of the Light, and The Elder Scrolls: Blades.
BTS WORLD is an interactive game with story-based simulations, exclusive photos, and videos that allow players to become “managers” who recruit and train the members. Upon its release, the game topped the Apple App Store’s popular free games ranking charts in 33 countries and ranked fourth in sales in Korea. The BTS WORLD OST also debuted at No. 1 on Gaon’s weekly album chart, No. 72 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on Gaon’s monthly album chart for the month of June despite having been released at the end of the month.
