Rebel Wilson To Produce Hollywood K-Pop Film "Seoul Girls"
A film about K-pop is in the works in Hollywood.
A recent exclusive report by Amanda N’Duka via Deadline stated that Rebel Wilson is writing and co-producing a film called “Seoul Girls” about a Korean-American and her friends competing to be the opening act for the most popular K-pop boy group.
According to the report, Lionsgate has obtained rights for the film.
Australian actress Rebel Wilson is especially known for her role as Fat Amy in the “Pitch Perfect” series, and she has also written and produced for projects including the ABC sitcom “Super Fun Night.”
Screenwriter Young Il Kim, who is reported to have revised the script for “Seoul Girls,” indirectly confirmed the news about the film through tweets about the reports.
