U-KISS's Jun Confirmed As Leading Role In Upcoming Drama
U-KISS’s Jun will be returning as the lead of a new miniseries in 2020!
On November 22, it was confirmed that Jun will play the role of Yoon Tae In in the drama “Idol Doctor” (literal translation).
The drama will be a story of romance and healing between one of the world’s greatest idols who is suffering from somnambulism and the doctor who is secretly treating him. Jun’s character Yoon Tae In is an untouchable idol star who is loved all around the world, and a musical genius who believes he is the center of the universe.
This is the third 2020 drama he’s confirmed to appear in, including SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Good Casting” (literal translation) in March and the KBS drama “Na Rae, Kicking Out” (literal translation). Jun will also be releasing his first solo album next month, meaning that he is currently busy preparing for his new music and his upcoming dramas.
Jun has already been praised for his appearances in dramas like “Avengers Social Club,” “Goodbye to Goodbye,” and “Mr. Temporary,” and he won Best New Actor at the 2018 MBC Drama Awards for his role in “Goodbye to Goodbye.”
