Kang Daniel To Make Long-Awaited Return To Music Shows For Comeback

Kang Daniel’s fans are thrilled to see him in a preview for next week’s “Music Bank“!

The soloist will be returing on November 25 with his new single “Touchin’.” On the November 22 episode of “Music Bank,” a preview was shared for his performance on the show next Friday. This will be his first time on the show since promoting with Wanna One last December.

While Kang Daniel made a hugely successful solo debut this summer (including achieving his first solo win on “Music Bank”), he was unable to perform on music shows. At the time, he was engaged in a legal battle with his former agency LM Entertainment over his exclusive contract.

Following the end of the legal battle in September, it’s reported that there are discussions ongoing about Kang Daniel’s appearances on music shows and variety programs on both major and cable networks.

In September, the news outlet TV Daily spoke to a producing director (PD) of a major network music show, who asked to remain anonymous. They said, “There were many PDs who wanted Kang Daniel to appear on their shows even during the dispute, but due to the circumstances there wasn’t anyone who stepped up without hesitation.” They added, “However, now that a reconciliation has been reached with LM, there will be no need to be cautious, so it seems like now the competition to cast him will begin.”

On November 16, Kang Daniel filmed an upcoming appearance on KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together” as a special MC.
