Lee Seung Gi Says He Wants To Work With PD Na Young Suk Again

Lee Seung Gi expressed his trust in PD Na Young Suk.

Recently, Lee Seung Gi met with reporters at a cafe in Gangnam District and said, “I still keep in touch with Na Young Suk and Kang Ho Dong. We’re very close.”

During a live broadcast on his YouTube channel with Lee Soo Geun and Eun Ji Won, Na Young Suk brought up Lee Seung Gi and said, “I would like to work with him again.” He expressed his affection for Lee Seung Gi, which began when they worked together in KBS2’s “2 Days & 1 Night.”

Lee Seung Gi said, “When asked why I don’t join ‘New Journey to the West,’ I say I do want to work with him again in some form. I am one of the original members of ‘New Journey to the West,’ but while I was serving in the military, the show has settled in a different direction. I also think the new members have settled in well. There’s no guarantee that the show will succeed with me, and instead, I might disrupt the flow.”

However, Lee Seung Gi sincerely wants to work with Na Young Suk again. Lee Seung Gi added, “I heard many people still enjoy ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ through YouTube. When I hear that, I’m pleased. I think people miss the love-hate relationship, and I, too, would like to see it again. I don’t know in what form it’ll be, but I hope we can come together again. I’m sure Young Suk hyung will give me a call.”

Recenty, Lee Seung Gi played a passionate and fiery stuntman in SBS’s “Vagabond.” “Vagabond” is an action melodrama about a man who is involved in a tragic airplane crash and ends up uncovering national corruption. The finale that aired on November 23 suggested a possible second season.
