Girls’ Generation’s YoonA will be honored at the 2019 Asian Stars: Up Next Awards!

The 2019 Asian Stars: Up Next Awards is an awards show helmed by the International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM) and the American entertainment media company Variety. The event highlights next generation stars all over the world with great potential, and YoonA will receive an award after gaining recognition as an actress in the 2017 film “Confidential Assignment” and 2019’s “E.X.I.T.”

Patrick Frater, the Asia bureau chief of Variety, stated, “The Asian Stars: Up Next Awards honors those who deserve to be in the global spotlight. This year’s recipients have all shown excellence in their work, and we are happy to be awarding them for their hard work.”

Other recipients who will be honored include Ryota Katayose, Jennis Opraset, Praewa Suthamphon, and more. YoonA is set to attend the closing ceremony of IFFAM on December 10 to receive her award.
