Watch: Jimmy Fallon Congratulates BTS On Winning Album Of The Year At 2019 Mnet Asia Music Awards

BTS received a sweet message from Jimmy Fallon!

On December 4, BTS became the first artist to win all four Daesangs at the 2019 Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) including Album of the Year, Worldwide Icon of the Year, Song of the Year, and Artist of the Year.

During 2019 MAMA, Jimmy Fallon announced the nominees and winner for this year’s Album of the Year via a video message. After the ceremony, the comedian and late-night talk show host tweeted, “Congrats BTS on the 2019 MAMA Album of the Year -Chimmy.”

Referring to himself as the BT21 character that sounds similar to his own name, he said in a video message, “BTS! Congrats! It’s me, it’s your friend Chimmy, Chimmy Fallon. I just wanna say congratulations. I’m so happy that I got to give you guys the award. MAMA! You did it! Congrats.”

BTS appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September where they sat down for an interview and performed “IDOL.”
