OVAN's Year-Long Lawsuit Against Those Who Spread Chart Manipulation Rumors Is Now Over

Singer OVAN’s lawsuit against those who spread rumors and malicious comments about chart manipulation is now over.

OVAN’s agency revealed a statement on December 6, stating that the fight has come to an end, and that they will be taking strong legal action against any false rumors or malicious comments in the future, as well.

Last year, we filed criminal lawsuits for defamation and obstruction of business against those who wrote malicious comments containing rumors of chart manipulation for OVAN’s album. The fight, which went on for a year, is now over.

Some were sentenced with fines, while others were received probationary sentences on the condition of fulfilling hours of education. We received acknowledgement from investigative institutions and the law that the chart manipulation rumors were false.

There is now no more reason for our agency to make further explanation. We are clearly stating that moving forward, no matter who spreads false rumors or bullies our agency or our agency artists, we will take strong legal action and fight to the end.”
