"2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships" Announces MCs + Broadcast Dates

MBC’s “2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships” has officially revealed new details about its upcoming Lunar New Year broadcast!

On December 6, MBC announced that Jun Hyun Moo, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, and TWICE’s Dahyun, who all served as MCs for the “2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships – Chuseok Special” earlier this year, will be returning to host the “2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships – New Year Special.”

A representative of the program stated, “Jun Hyun Moo, Leeteuk, and Dahyun will be greeting you through the small screen as the three MCs [of the ‘2020 Idol Star Athletics Championships’] this Lunar New Year holiday.”

The producers of the special also confirmed that filming for the upcoming broadcast will take place on December 16 at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon, as previously reported.

The “2020 Idol Star Athletics Championship – New Year Special” will air on January 25 and 26, during the Korean Lunar New Year holiday.
