Watch: Stray Kids Covers 2PM In Front Of Park Jin Young On "Immortal Songs"
On the December 7 episode of KBS’s “Immortal Songs,” the Park Jin Young special continued with musical performances from MONNI, HoooW (Son Ho Young and Kim Tae Woo), Ivy, Yook Joong Wan Band, Byul, Stray Kids, and Jeong Sewoon.
Of the many artists in the episode who had connections to Park Jin Young, Stray Kids is one of the few currently working under JYP Entertainment. They chose to cover 2PM’s “Again & Again” and drew admiration from Park Jin Young as well as the audience.
In an interview, Stray Kids said they thought of Park Jin Young as an important teacher and shared their ambition to put their own spin on their seniors’ hit song.
Park Jin Young said, “They’re a team that does almost everything by themselves, so I look at them with the attitude of an observer. I saw this performance for the first time today and I thought, if they keep going like this, if this is the beginning, they could really grow a lot from here.”

The overall win this episode was taken by Yook Joong Wan Band, who defeated five artists in succession with their cover of “Don’t Leave Me.”
