EXO's Chanyeol + Kai Reveal Which EXO Members Their Moms Are Fans Of

Chanyeol and Kai talked about their moms’ favorite EXO members on the latest episode of “Ask Us Anything”!

EXO appeared as guests on the December 7 broadcast of the JTBC variety show, where they participated in the program’s signature guessing-game segment. When Kai mentioned that his mom had decorated her home with photos of her son, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul asked him, “Aside from her son, does your mother have a bias or a favorite member among the EXO members?”

After a moment of thought, Kai replied, “D.O.” He went on to explain, “Because of his dramas.”

As the other EXO members reacted with slight disappointment, Lee Sang Min jokingly commented, “Kai, to be honest, D.O. isn’t here right now… so it might be good to name one of the members who’s here.”

Kai quickly caught on and responded, “Okay, I’ll do it over. Honestly, my mom actually really likes all the members, but [I’d have to say] Chanyeol. Because he has a bright, cheerful energy.”

Heechul then turned to Chanyeol and asked, “Then what about your mom?”

Without a moment’s hesitation, Chanyeol replied with a laugh, “D.O.”

“All our fans know about this already,” continued Chanyeol. “She even went to his movie premiere to give him a bouquet of flowers.”

He made everyone crack up as he went on, “My older sister also likes D.O. the best. On her wedding day, she asked me why D.O. wasn’t singing the congratulatory song. Because I sang the congratulatory song at her wedding.”
