Park Ji Hoon Shares Which Wanna One Member He'd Like To Work With + Acting Roles He Wants To Try
On December 9, Park Ji Hoon appeared on the MBC FM4U radio show “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope.”
On the show, he introduced his new album “360” and one of the tracks on the album, “Strange,” which was gifted to him by fellow Wanna One member Kim Jae Hwan. Park Ji Hoon said, “Jae Hwan hyung said he had wanted to give me a song for a while.”
Another Wanna One member, now AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi, also wrote one of the songs on Park Ji Hoon’s debut album. When asked to compare their two styles, Park Ji Hoon said, “Both of them require a lot of takes. Jae Hwan hyung and I have very different singing styles, so it was a little tough to record. I don’t know what Lee Dae Hwi is doing, but he does a lot of takes. Anyway, he always picks a good one.”
Park Ji Hoon then added with a laugh, “I’ve featured on one of [Ha Sung Woon]’s songs before, so I want to get a song from him on my next album.”
Park Ji Hoon, who recently made a comeback as an actor in the drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” talked about his acting career. He said, “It was my first acting project after becoming an adult, so I was really nervous. Memorizing lines was easy, but there was such a big difference between the person that I am and the person that Go Young Soo [his character] is, so it took me a lot of time to research.”
He continued, “I’m a bit shy and I don’t talk a lot. Go Young Soo talks a lot, plays around a lot, and is the type to just go ahead and do something. I want to play many different characters, but the one I really want to try is a hacker type. I have ambitions to play a villain role.”
