Kim Gun Mo Cancels Nationwide Tour Amidst Sexual Assault Allegations
In light of the recent sexual assault allegations brought up against him, singer Kim Gun Mo has cancelled all stops on his upcoming nationwide tour.
The cancellation of Kim Gun Mo’s anniversary tour was first announced by production company iStar Media, the company in charge of producing the tour. The statement written on the company’s official blog stated, “Due to recent issues involving the artist, all concerts from December 24 to February 29 will be cancelled. We deeply apologize to all of the people who were looking forward to the concerts. We will do our utmost to ensure that every ticketholder gets a full refund, including fees and taxes, without any trouble.”
Kim Gun Mo’s agency later confirmed the cancellation. A representative from the agency stated, “[It is true that] all of Kim Gun Mo’s scheduled concerts have been cancelled. Now that he no longer has any scheduled events, he will be making every effort to restore his reputation.”
Kim Gun Mo has denied all allegations of sexual assault, and is filing a criminal complaint against his accuser.
