Kim Ji Won Leaves King Kong By Starship Following Contract Expiration
Actress Kim Ji Won is leaving her agency King Kong by Starship.
On December 17, it was reported that Kim Ji Won’s contract with King Kong by Starship had expired and that both sides had mutually agreed not to renew it.
A representative from King Kong by Starship responded, saying, “Our exclusive contract with Kim Ji Won expired in early December. After discussing with the actress, we decided not to renew [the contract].” They added, “Although the contract has expired, we will continue to support Kim Ji Won’s activities.”
Kim Ji Won has been with the agency since 2014, when they were known as King Kong Entertainment. During the five years, she’s starred in multiple hit dramas, including “Descendants of the Sun,” “Fight My Way,” and “Arthdal Chronicles.”
Following the conclusion of “Arthdal Chronicles” in September, Kim Ji Won has been resting and reviewing future projects.
