Yang Se Jong's Agency Responds To Reports Of Enlistment Plans
Yang Se Jong’s agency has responded to a report stating that he is planning to enlist in 2020.
On December 17, the news outlet Korea Economic Daily reported that Yang Se Jong will be enlisting in the military early next year. The report stated that the exact date has not been confirmed but it’s said that he has been politely rejecting offers for dramas, films, and other appearances that require a long period of time to film.
Yang Se Jong was born on December 23, 1992 and still has time before he has to enlist. A celebrity source told the outlet, “He is determined to complete his military service quickly.”
Later, a source from Yang Se Jong’s agency, Good People Entertainment, responded, “Yang Se Jong has not received his draft notice. A specific date has not been set.”
Yang Se Jong first appeared in SBS’s “Romantic Doctor Kim” and SBS’s “Saimdang, Light’s Diary.” He continued to receive love and praise for his acting skills in OCN’s “Duel,” SBS’s “Degree of Love,” and SBS’s “30 but 17.”
Most recently, Yang Se Jong appeared in tvN’s variety show, “Coffee Friends,” and starred in JTBC’s “My Country.” It’s described that he is currently taking a break while reviewing offer for his next project.
