Updated December 19 KST:
Red Velvet’s Yeri posted on her Instagram to share a message for the friends she has lost.
She wrote:
“I’m always trying to make sure that my actions don’t cause other people and myself to only remember your names with sadness. That’s why I hesitated about writing this, but I’m just going to quietly ask how you’re doing and say that I hope that you’re just eating well, sleeping well, and comfortably happy in a warm place with no worries nor tears. To all the people there, please keep watching over me from wherever you are until the day you hug me with a smile again. I always remember, and everyone else does too. I sincerely send you my love.”

Though we’re far apart now, and many things have changed in me because of that distance, I believe that when time goes by, day by day, we will meet again. I will sing your songs here. In that place, you have to be happy.” In addition to her beautiful message, she shared a photo of a string of lights in the shape of a smile.
