"Parasite" Actresses Jo Yeo Jung And Lee Jung Eun To Attend 2020 Golden Globe Awards

“Parasite” actresses Lee Jung Eun and Jo Yeo Jung will be joining the Hollywood elite at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards.

On December 18th, a representative of Jo Yeo Jung stated, “On January 5, [Jo Yeo Jung] will be attending the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.” They added, “Since [Jo Yeo Jung] is currently in the middle of filming for the KBS Drama ‘Woman of 9.9 Billion,’ it’s a bit of a tight schedule, but she will spend as much time as she can [in the United States] before returning.”

Lee Jung Eun’s agency released a similar statement, saying, “Lee Jung Eun will be attending the Golden Globe Awards at the beginning of the new year. She will be spending one month in the United States, as she has some personal plans and will be traveling with her family.”

The two actresses will attending to represent the 2019 film “Parasite,” which is the first Korean film to be nominated at the Golden Globes for best director, best screenplay, and best foreign language film. The film is also nominated for the best casting (ensemble) award at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles on January 19.
