Watch: Lee Sung Kyung Introduces What's In Store In "Dr. Romantic" Season 2

The second season of “Dr. Romantic” released a new teaser!

In the clip, Lee Sung Kyung introduces Dol Dam Hospital and its characters. In a voiceover, Lee Sung Kyung narrates, “One person loses their direction, one person gets discouraged, and one person, full of hatred, searches for this place. Where are you hurt and why are you here? People have gathered back at Dol Dam Hospital after two years to retrieve everyone’s lost romance.”

Lee Sung Kyung plays Cha Eun Jae, a second year resident cardiosurgeon who goes to Dol Dam Hospital to search for something. Lee Sung Kyung explains that Cha Eun Jae worked hard her entire life to become a doctor, but in the end, she wasn’t able to become a “real doctor.”

“The reality she encountered away from her desk was much more cold and painful,” she said. “That’s before she met Doctor Kim, of course.”

Ahn Hyo Seop plays Cha Eun Jae’s rival, Seo Woo Jae. Seo Woo Jae is a genius surgeon who is known for being cynical and self-centered. Unlike Cha Eun Jae, Seo Woo Jae enters the operating room with dignity.

Lee Sung Kyung wonders, “What will they encounter at Dol Dam Hospital? What kind of doctor will they become? And what kind of romance will they discover?” She continues, “We will try to find the answer at Dol Dam Hospital with our spiritual anchor and the symbol of Dol Dam Hospital, Romantic Doctor Kim Sa Bu (Han Suk Kyu).”

The second season of “Dr. Romantic” is set to premiere on January 6, 2020 at 10 p.m. KST.
