Lee Tae Hwan Compares Himself With Character In "Touch"
Lee Tae Hwan spoke about getting into character for “Touch”!
This upcoming Channel A drama is about former trainee Han Soo Yeon (played by Kim Bo Ra) who fails to debut, and unemployed makeup artist Cha Jung Hyuk (played by Joo Sang Wook) as they work towards their new dreams.
On December 19, “Touch” released new stills of Lee Tae Hwan as a top actor named Kang Do Jin.
Speaking about his similarity to his character, Lee Tae Hwan said, “I think it’s about half and half. I think I’m similar to Do Jin in that I’m energetic, but his cute clumsiness or his action-driven personality is different from mine.”
He continued, “I want to make Kang Do Jin into a realistic character. Even if Do Jin makes mistakes, I hope he won’t be disliked. More than anything, I hope that his bright energy can be conveyed well to viewers.”
About the story of “Touch,” Lee Tae Hwan said, “Since it’s a drama about makeup, there is a lot of helpful information for viewers. Also, since it’s fun overall, I feel confident that it’ll be a drama where you’ll laugh and feel healing.”
The actor concluded, “I want to show you the appearance of Lee Tae Hwan in my mid-20s as is. I’m working hard to give you good energy in the new year, so I hope you’ll start the new year with ‘Touch.'”
