Winners Of The 2019 KBS Entertainment Awards

On December 21, the best and brightest of KBS’s comedy and variety this year took the stage at the 2019 KBS Entertainment Awards.

The ceremony was hosted by Jun Hyun Moo, Son Dam Bi, Jang Dong Yoon, and Kim Joon Hyun.

The Daesang (Grand Prize) this year was won by the fathers on “The Return of Superman!”

Sam Hammington shed tears on stage and said, “Thank you very much. I would like to thank the staff members, who help us out quietly behind-the-scenes. Many people around the world are watching us, and I am so grateful to them.” Park Joo Ho, the father of the much-loved Na Eun and Gun Hoo, surprised everyone by revealing that he and his wife are expecting a third child!

The Daesang winner was chosen through 40 percent live audience votes, 30 percent votes from KBS variety producers, and 30 percent audience pre-votes. The other nominees were Lee Kyung Kyu, Lee Young Ja, Kim Sook, Jun Hyun Moo, and Kim Seung Hyun’s family (from “Mr. House Husband 2.”
