Watch: Girls' Generation's Taeyeon Shares How She Prepares For The Cold, Her Favorite Winter Food, And More

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon recently participated in a brief interview about winter with the fashion magazine Allure!

First , the idol was asked when it truly feels like winter has come, and she replied, “When I take out my survival coat to wear it. A long padded coat.” Concerning her strategy to survive the cold, she answered while laughing, “I stick hand warmers all over my body.”

Taeyeon revealed her favorite winter item is fur boots and shared she mixes face oil with her cosmetics in order to protect her skin during the winter.

When asked about her favorite winter food, Taeyeon replied, “Warm fish cake soup with sweet potatoes.” She said ten winters from now, she may be roasting sweet potatoes in front of a warm fireplace.

The Girls’ Generation leader shared the place she wants to visit the most in winter is Iceland and explained, “I think it’d be nice to go to an even colder place and see an aurora there.” When asked about her favorite winter song, she grew embarrassed but picked the song “Into the Unknown” she sang from the movie “Frozen 2.”

Last but not least, Taeyeon said, “It seems like an especially cold winter, so I hope you eat a lot of warm, tasty food, keep in check of your beauty routines, and take care of yourselves this cold season. And don’t forget to listen to my songs, too.”
