Han Ye Seul And Namgoong Min In Talks To Star In New tvN Romance Mystery Drama
Han Ye Seul and Namgoong Min may be starring in an upcoming tvN drama!
On December 30, both actors’ agencies confirmed that the two stars had been offered the leading roles in tvN’s “Night and Day” (literal translation).
Han Ye Seul’s agency Partners Park stated, “She has received a casting offer for the drama and is reviewing it with a favorable outlook. She has not yet come to a final decision.”
Meanwhile, Namgoong Min’s agency 935 Entertainment stated more cautiously, “Nothing has yet been confirmed. He has received offers for both films and dramas, so we don’t know yet which he’ll come to a decision on first.” The agency went on to add, “At the moment, he is focusing on [his drama] ‘Stove League.'”
“Night and Day” is described as a suspenseful romantic mystery drama about good and evil. The story will follow the connections between a mystery unfolding in the present and the secrets behind an enigmatic incident that took place in a village 26 years ago.
Han Ye Seul has reportedly been offered the role of FBI agent Jamie Layton, while Namgoong Min is said to have been offered the role of the fashion-challenged but brilliant police detective Do Jung Woo.
“Night and Day” is currently scheduled to premiere in August 2020.
