Veteran Actor Park Young Gyu Gets Married

Veteran actor Park Young Gyu has tied the knot!

On January 2, his agency Crebig Entertainment announced, “Park Young Gyu held a private wedding on December 25 of last year with close family and friends.”

This is the actor’s fourth marriage. According to reports, he held a private wedding ceremony with only about 30 people in attendance.

In an interview with eDaily, Park Young Gyu commented, “I have drama filming today, and I’m receiving a lot of congratulatory messages following the news of my marriage. There are some negative comments on some articles, so I’m saddened by them, but it just makes me think I need to work harder. I’m worried that others will be more hurt emotionally, so I’m not sure if filming will go well today.”

He added, “[My wife] and I met through a mutual acquaintance and ended up getting married. She is someone who runs a small business.”

Park Young Gyu shared, “We held our wedding ahead of the new year, but we couldn’t have any special events because of my drama filming. When filming is over and there is time, we’re planning to go on a trip together. I know everyone must have their own opinions of me, but please refrain from criticism.”

Park Young Gyu debuted in 1985 with “The Parting” and has appeared in various dramas and films ever since. Currently, he is starring in the drama “Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life,” and his movie “Secret Zoo” will hit theaters in Korea on January 15.
