Watch: 2PM's Taecyeon Has Fun On Set Of Upcoming Drama, Talks About Returning To Acting After A Long Time Off

MBC’s upcoming drama “The Game: Towards Zero” shared a behind-the-scenes look at the cast’s first day on set!

“The Game: Towards Zero” is a mystery thriller about Kim Tae Pyung (2PM’s Taecyeon), a man with the psychic ability to see the moment just before someone’s death, and Seo Joon Young (Lee Yeon Hee), a detective. They team up to uncover the secrets behind a murder that took place 20 years ago.

Taecyeon, who is returning for his first drama since being discharged from the military in May 2019, said, “Because I’m acting for the first time in a long time, I was incredibly excited and nervous, but now that we’ve started, I’m starting to feel the joys of acting again. I’m looking forward to being able to show improvement through the character Kim Tae Pyung.”

Lee Yeon Hee said that everyone is working hard, and that the atmosphere on set is fun. “Please look forward to the drama.”

Im Joo Hwan, who plays a medical examiner in the drama, said, “Because the base of the story is a thriller, we’re paying very close attention to details. The director, staff, and cast are doing their best to be as realistic as possible so that the people watching can relate to the story and not doubt what is happening.

The clip ends with a shot of Taecyeon jumping and dancing in between takes. He said, “I try to make filming fun like this. Look at this, it’s taking so long!”

Taecyeon said, “Of course, this way people watching this making video will think, ‘Oh, they’re having a lot of fun while filming.'” He joked that when the camera turns off, they would go back to being sullen and quiet.

On his military service, Taecyeon said, “It was nice. It felt like returning to innocent times with the young ones.” Asked if he wants to go back, Taecyeon just laughed and said, “I think it’s time to go home.”
