Cho Seung Youn Writes Letter To Fans After X1's Disbandment
Cho Seung Youn has written to fans following X1’s disbandment.
On January 8 KST, he shared the following letter on his Instagram:
Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for helping so that we were able to have such a cool experience, while smiling and crying together next to us.
You may be disappointed and you may be upset because I am not able to return in the way that you’d expected, but I’ll work harder so that in the future I can show a good side of myself next to all of you.
I’m an only child, but I was able to feel a lot of love thanks to the younger brothers and older brother who seem like my real brothers, and I experienced a lot while promoting with the members. I think we were able to work harder while promoting because of all of you who like us.
Us members all think of you a lot and so there’s a lot we want to show you too, and so we worked hard at preparing. Although we’ve stopped walking together as 11, I hope you’ll look forward to us, who are connected by an invisible string.
I’ll soon return next to you all so that I can be someone who always touches your heart and that you’ll like no matter how I appear.
Thank you for spending the best moments of 2019 with me, and I’ll try to give back to you for everything you’ve given me.
I’m always grateful and I love you.
Don’t get sick and be careful not to catch a cold.

X1 was formed by “Produce X 101” in 2019 and debuted in August. Following a controversy over vote manipulation by the show’s producers, the group disbanded on January 6. After the disbandment, members Nam Do Hyon and Lee Han Gyul uploaded video messages and Kim Woo Seok shared a handwritten letter.
