Im Soo Hyang In Talks To Play Female Lead In Love Triangle With Two Brothers In New Drama
Im Soo Hyang may soon be returning to the small screen with “When I Was the Most Beautiful.”
On January 9, a source from her agency FN Entertainment told DongA, “Im Soo Hyang has received an offer for MBC’s new drama ‘When I Was the Most Beautiful’ and is reviewing it. She is still undecided. She’s in the process of choosing from amongst various projects.”
“When I Was the Most Beautiful” is a drama with the message that anyone has the right to be happy. It will tell the story of finding healing after pain, and the romance between one woman and two brothers.
Im Soo Hyang has been offered the role of female protagonist Oh Ye Ji. This character speaks candidly about her emotions, doesn’t hold grudges, and gets over things after a good cry. Although she used to feign a bright personality in order to forget about her stark reality, this ends up becoming her personality in real life.
The actress received praise for her performance in her last two dramas, including JTBC’s “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.” Her latest drama, “Graceful Family,” set the record for the highest viewership ratings in MBN’s history.
“When I Was the Most Beautiful” will be a collaboration between director Oh Kyung Hoon of “Bad Thief, Good Thief” and “Mom,” and writer Jo Hyun Kyung of “Maids” and “Grand Prince.” The series is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
