BLACKPINK's "Whistle" Becomes Their 6th MV To Hit 450 Million Views

BLACKPINK’s “Whistle” has reached another YouTube milestone!

On January 11 around 7:30 p.m. KST, the music video for “Whistle” surpassed 450 million views. The MV was released on August 8, 2016, meaning that it accomplished the milestone in about three years and five months.

“Whistle” is BLACKPINK’s sixth music video to reach 450 million views, following “Playing With Fire,” “BOOMBAYAH,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and “Kill This Love.”

BLACKPINK also currently holds the distinction of having the first K-pop debut MV (“BOOMBAYAH”) to reach 750 million views, as well as the first K-pop group MV (“DDU-DU DDU-DU”) to reach 1 billion views.
