BTS's V, Park Seo Joon, Sandara Park, And INFINITE's L Express Concern For Those Affected By Volcano Eruption In Philippines
Many celebrities have posted on social media to share their concern about those in the Philippines after Taal Valcano began erupting on Sunday. It has sent ash into the air and caused earthquakes, with warnings of a possible “explosive eruption” and large-scale evacuations taking place.
On BTS’s fan community WeVerse, a fan posted asking for help for fans in the Philippines. Member V replied, “My heart really aches lately. I really hope that no one gets hurt and that nature causes no further harm to people.”
On the morning of January 14, Sandara Park shared a photo of the volcano on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Please stay safe everyone.”
Park Seo Joon posted on his Instagram with the text “Pray for Taal.”
INFINITE’s L was in the Philippines for a fan meeting. He wrote, “I would like to thank all the fans who came to the fan meeting tonight. Due to the eruption of a volcano near Manila, I hope that no one will be affected by this natural calamity.”
In addition, after being delayed from departing from Manila this week due to flights not operating, Cherry Bullet has now returned to Korea. Member Haeyoon posted on Instagram to share her hopes that there will be no further damage.
