Jang Ki Yong Surprises Lee Sung Kyung With Gift Sent To The Set Of "Dr. Romantic 2"
Jang Ki Yong showed his support for Lee Sung Kyung’s newest drama “Dr. Romantic 2”!
On January 17, the actress shared photos of a coffee truck sent by Jang Ki Yong. She wrote, “Surprise gift from Jang cutie. Thank you.”
In an attached clip, Lee Sung Kyung poses next to a sign that says, “Good luck to ‘Dr. Romantic 2’ and Lee Sung Kyung! I’ll come running whenever Lee Sung Kyung (Eun Jae) calls!” Eun Jae is the name of Lee Sung Kyung’s character in the SBS series.
She twirls around when a staff member instructs her to behind the phone. Alluding to this moment, Lee Sung Kyung jokingly added in the hashtag, “Ji Yu hits me super hard if I don’t pose according to her instructions.”
The banner on top of the truck also says, “I”m cheering for actress Lee Sung Kyung and everyone working on ‘Dr. Romantic 2’! From actor Jang Ki Yong.”
Lee Sung Kyung and Jang Ki Yong became friends while modeling before debuting as actors. The actor made a special appearance in her 2014 debut drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” where they portrayed a couple. The two former models have stayed close while building impressive acting careers.
She currently stars in “Dr. Romantic 2,” which boasts of a star-studded cast including Ahn Hyo Seop and Han Suk Kyu and has maintained high viewership ratings including a personal best of 19.9 percent.
