Kim Ho Young Cleared Of Sexual Harassment Charges + To Countersue For Defamation And False Accusation

Musical actor Kim Ho Young has been cleared of his sexual harassment charges.

Earlier on November 11, 2019, news outlet The Fact reported that Kim Ho Young was facing a lawsuit for suspicions of sexually harassing a man referred to as by “A” inside a car on September 24. In response to the article, Kim Ho Young’s agency PLK Entertainment released a statement confirming that “A” had filed a lawsuit while claiming that the accusations were false and that Kim Ho Young was innocent.

Two months after the lawsuit was filed, the police declared Kim Ho Young as innocent, and the case was forwarded to the prosecution with a recommendation for non-indictment. On January 28, Kim Ho Young’s agency PLK Entertainment revealed, “He has been acquitted. Currently, he’s in the process of pressing charges on plaintiff ‘A’ for defamation of character and false accusation.”

In addition to determining Kim Ho Young as innocent, the police revealed that they would be conducting additional investigation on “A.”

Kim Ho Young recently appeared in tvN’s “Pegasus Market” as Jo Min Dal, the head of a household who wouldn’t give up on his dream of becoming a singer. He is also known for his appearances on variety shows like MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer” and “The Real Men 300.”
