Park Bom Reveals She Asked CL To Write A Song For Her + How Her Duet With Sandara Park Came About

Park Bom appeared as a guest on the January 28 broadcast of Mnet’s “Studio Music Hall” (literal title) and shared some stories about her former groupmates Sandara Park and CL!

She talked about her recent track “First Snow” with Sandara Park, sharing, “I asked Sandara Park to sing the song with me first. She took vocal lessons and worked hard with sincerity, so I felt reassured.”

She explained that she sweated profusely while rehearsing for the live performance on the talk show because it was hard to pull off a song originally meant for two vocalists. But once the recording began, Park Bom sang the song perfectly.

Park Bom also revealed, “While preparing for my solo album, I asked CL to write a song for me, but I haven’t received one yet. CL was also working on an album around the same time, so she must have been busy. I’m not disappointed.” She added that the 2NE1 members continue to stay close—monitoring each other’s new releases and providing feedback to one another.
